The Evesham iPlayer is an exciting multi-media marvel. No mere Freeview PVR, beyond the usual features, the iPlayer will stream media from network-connected computers, features a web-browser and streams Internet Radio (and future-proofed IPTV services) and podcasts and plays back video (whether streamed, from its hard disk or live Freeview broadcasts) at standard or upscaled high-definition resolution, via its HDMI digital video output!
Yet, at only 310mm wide and weighing in at a mere half a kilo, Evesham have packed in an 80GB hard disk and have managed to include a slot for TopUpTV subscription cards and even a side-mounted USB port, for adding further storage or connecting a keyboard - very handy for using the built in web browser and Email client.
