The Samsung BD-P1000 is the first Blu-ray player on the market. As well as playback of standard DVDs, the BDP1000 will play back the new format which has five times the capacity of standard DVDs, enabling support for films and programming recorded with superior High Definition pictures and sound and for greater capacity of Standard Definition programming, too.
The Samsung also features MP3 & JPEG playback from disc and a 10 in 1 data-card reader, for playback of media stored on flash memory cards.
