The new Pure Evoke-2XT works off the supplied mains supply or standard "C" batteries. The optional "ChargePAK" is a fit-and-forget rechargeable battery option which is topped up when the radio is plugged in to the mains, saving you the cost and inconvenience of replacing batteries and further extending the Evoke-2XT's portability.
The Pure Evoke-2XT builds on the success of the standard "Evoke-2" with a full alarm clock and countdown timer (great for bedroom or kitchen use). Pure have also improved the sound-quality with superior speakers and a tweaked FM tuner and have further extended the battery life too!
If that weren't enough, you can now use the Evoke-2XT with an add-on rechargeable battery pack, which fits neatly inside the standard battery compartment and charges off the included mains supply!
