The Audiolab 8000Q is an elegant pre-amplifier with useful features and audiophile performance. It provides remote control functionality and a useful array of line inputs and outputs, for flexible system matching and a high quality headphone output.
It does the business of controlling the low-level signals from your sources, including allowing you to select the record signal independently of the listen signal, without overlaying its own character on the sound, leaving an uncoloured signal for your power amplifiers to boost.
