Opus speakers are
Wharfedale's reference design, built to the very highest
standards and with an obsessive attention to detail.
On the outside the real
wood veneer is lovingly coated with several layers of lacquer
over a period of days, to give an incredibly beautiful,
hard-wearing, high-gloss finish.
Inside, the drivers employ
sophisticated materials for strength and quality - woven carbon
fibre cones for bass and soft-domed textile domes for midrange
and treble. Cabinets are thick and internally braced and details
such as the outsized single/bi/triwirable speaker connections
reinforce the Opus's no-compromise design philosophy.
The Opus Tri-Centre is
suited to quality AV amplifiers which can deliver 70 watts or
more, in larger home cinema systems. It is efficient, so easy to
drive, and with its combination of superb resolution and
stunning looks ensures it will be easy on the ear and the
eye.
