Component Video (Y, Pb, Pr), allied to Progressive Scan, is a high-end connection method for the picture element of DVD and other video sources.
This connection type demands the highest quality cable to fully realise its potential. Two factors determine how well this is achieved: strong adherence to the 75 ohm transmission line standard and excellent shielding. QED Signature CV Component Video interconnects excel in both respects: Silver-plated 99.999% Oxygen Free Copper conductors used in a precise geometry offer true 75 ohm impedance and the triple shield of Aluminium Mylar foil and tightly woven dual SPOFC braids guarantees immunity from external interference.
