Freeview is the new, free, digital service, providing over 30 TV channels, over 20 radio stations plus a new world of interactive services. Digital television means more channels, transmitted with extra features such as interactivity and a free Electronic Programme Guide (or "EPG") giving you up to two weeks worth of programme schedules. And, even with weaker signals, the more-robust digital transmissions are likely to deliver pictures and sound that can be rendered perfectly, without ghosting, noise or hiss.

Some Freeview set-top boxes also include a Personal Video Recorder (PVR) and even twin tuners, allowing you to watch and record combinations of different channels, simultaneously! Coupled with the new "EPG", programming the timer is simple.
